While the world celebrates the glory of brawn, shouldn’t we do something similar or better for brains?
I’m watching my boy Phelps with pride and excitement these days, but I’d get just as worked up over who will take the gold in the materials science marathon, the biology relay, or the physics decathalon.
Not sure yet what these feats of creativity would entail but I’m open for suggestions. Would it be an Odyssey of the Mind for adults? Amateurs only? Calcularors allowed? I guess we’d have to test for consciousness-expanding drugs.
