IDEAS V 2014: Energy Innovation Contest

Open to individuals or organizations, IDEAS V aims is to support the development of applied scientific and technological research about the adoption, innovation, assimilation, development and transfer of technology in the areas of renewable energy sources. It also is looking for entries to innovate business models that would allow for progress in the sustainability of clean and efficient energy.

Launched in 2009, and this year’s launch is the fifth edition of the Contest. More than 2,300 proposals from 28 LAC countries have been received and 53 winners have been selected in previous editions.

This year's contest will be jointly sponsored and administered by CONACYT-SENER Fund for Energy Sustainability (FSE), the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Multilateral InvestmentFund (MIF).
