I discovered the chemical compound CB-183,315 which is being studied for the treatment of a severe and sometimes life-threatening diarrhea caused by Clostridium difficile known as C. difficile-associated diarrhea, or CDAD. The compound CB-183,315 is scheduled for Phase 3 studies in the first half of 2012.
