I was involved in the start-up of the first spin-off form Catholic University (Institute of Microbiology). The project started in 2002/03 has been finalised in 2005 when the University regulation about spin-off and exploitation of research results has been issued. The firm named now AAT srl (www.aat-taa.eu) is focussed on analysis and product development for functional foods (pre-biotics and pro-biotics).
In 2004 another New Knowledge business has been established following a path started in 2001. We helped a newly graduated architect to mature and develop the technology developed during his thesis. www.betanit.com is nowadays a business that design devices and services integrating electronic-optical-mechanical technologies.
In 2002 we helped to develop a new product in the field of starters for oenology. More specifically a fresh, liquid and certified typology of yeast for the production of quality wine. We followed the definition of the business and market. (www.sgbiotech.com) - sorry the site is only in Italian.
