I built a low cost "Turn Assist Lights" for cars for safe cornering in dark areas. I used micro switches and aligned them along the indicator knob so that when the indicators are activated during night (at places without street lights) automatically a light at the right extreme of the front bumper is switched on for better visibility during cornering. The light automatically switches off with the indicator knob resetting itself after the turn. Thus the driver needs no extra effort to switch on and off the lights. The feature can be turned off during day with a separate control on the dashboard.
