Logical Phonetic Alphabet

Summary:
The Logical Phonetic Alphabet provides a symbol for every English sound whose relationship to each sound is logical.

Full Description:
The Logical Phonetic Alphabet helps make learning English spelling and pronunciation easier. The Roman alphabet, with only 26 letters, does not and cannot be phonetic. The most popular phonetic alphabet in use today is the International Phonetic Alphabet. But it is based on the Roman alphabet, causing confusion. For example, in the I.P.A., the word /bet/ does not refer to gambling. It represents the word "bait", meaning lures for fish. And, the I.P.A. word /bait/ represents the word: "bite", meaning to clench one's teeth. On the other hand, the Logical Phonetic Alphabet, which is patent pending, does not resemble the Roman alphabet, so its not confusing. Every L.P.A. symbol is a diagram which depicts the articulatory features of the sound it represents.

Problem this idea/invention addresses:
