3D TV

Sep-08-09 Sony and Panasonic say that 3D-ready televisions will be in homes as early as 2010. Are you ready for a 3D format war?

The hardware will be divided between the television and a pair of "active glasses." (How many pairs will come with the TV?)

Delivering full 3D without the "active glasses" would take twice the bandwidth. Also, filming in 3D will be different. The brain needs more time to process 3D scenes, so action shots will need to be slower.
