A-Bike Electric Takes Electric Bikes to a New Level

A-Bike Electric Takes Electric Bikes to a New Level
Jul-19-15
Being called the world’s most compact electric bike, the A-Bike Electric weighs only 26 pounds and can travel up to 15 miles on a single charge.

The A-Bike Electric is an evolution of the original A-Bike, created by Alex Kalogroulis. The bike features a telescoping design that allows it to fold to just 8.5 x 15.75 x 27.5 inches, and it can be unfolded for use in seconds. The bike’s 24V battery can be removed from the bike and charged while at work or at home, and an LED light system on the battery tracks the current charge level.

Although the A-Bike Electric’s small wheels have been questioned, the company explains that their dual-chain drive system ensures the bike pedals with the same sensation as full-sized models, allowing a natural ride.
