AdlensFocuss Adjusts for More Viewing Area

AdlensFocuss Adjusts for More Viewing Area
Jun-29-15
The AdlensFocuss glasses offer an affordable alternative to bifocals by allowing the user to adjust them focus for different distances.

Originally created for use in the developing world, the AdlenFocuss glasses feature two separate lenses for each eye: the user’s prescription lens backed by a deformable lens and separated by a silicon layer. As the wear twists a small dial on the arm of the glasses, the lenses move to bring three different area of distance into focus. The focus is preset to the user’s prescription, and the company states that the glasses can deliver four times the viewing of the top bifocals.
