Ambi Climate Makes Air Conditioners Smarter

Oct-21-14 The Ambi Climate works with existing infrared-remote controlled home air conditioners to allow smartphone control and a smarter unit.

Already far exceeding its funding goal on Kickstarter, the Ambi Climate stand-alone unit is designed to be located in the room meant to optimized, where it will monitor the conditions in the room in order to dictate the air conditioner's operation. The Ambi Climate unit can be controlled manually via a smartphone app, which lets users pick their preferences, and will also function autonomously based on a number of different conditions that include the motion of the people in the room, the humidity and the amount of sunlight entering the room.
