Apple Patents a Touchscreen Ring
Oct-06-15
A new touchscreen ring in development by Apple could respond to voice commands, act a fitness sensor and record hand-written notes.

According to the patent, the “ring-mounted touchscreen” would be equipped with a computer processor, wireless transceiver and rechargeable battery. The ring would respond to voice controls and gestures to control external devices, while its biometric sensors track data such as heart rate and perspiration levels.

The ring would even be equipped with a “sensor for sensing a writing motion of the user,” which would allow the ring to track the wearer’s hand motions as they write and transmit the data to another device, where it would be interpreted as text.
