Avidbots Cleaning Robots Designed for Commercial Spaces

The company's two models, a vacuum-bot and a sweeper-bot, use laser mapping to create accurate maps of the areas to be cleaned and to plan the most efficient path, which the company claims helps to ensure that no areas are missed. They also operate in swarm mode, and can communicate with each other to build maps and let each other know if an area has already been cleaned.

The company has already developed a pair of prototypes and is pricing them at affordable levels—which include a purchase option or a by-the-hour rental plan.
