Designed with urban dwellers in mind, the groovy Bemoove concept car features an inflatable cabin that provides 360-degree views.
Conceived by Italian designer Andrea Filogonio, the Bemoove’s tricycle-style frame is made of lightweight carbon fiber. The spherical cabin is inflatable, and is linked to the frame of the vehicle by three vibrations dampers made of carbon fiber and polymer, and steering is accomplished with the spherical rubber-Kevlar rear wheel, which is moved by electric engines. The wheel design improves traction and allows the vehicle to make very sharp turns.
The Bemoove was designed as part of the Michelin Challenge, which seeks to combine technical innovation with transportation design to create vehicles that consumers will want to purchase and will enjoy driving.
