Adding a 4.5 foot boat tail to his Geo Metro, improved fuel efficiency by 15% claims Darin Cosgrove of Ecomodder.com. The drag coefficient improved from 0.34 to 0.23.

Tests were fun over a straight and level road, with no other traffic, at 90 kmh. The tail was removed and reinstalled in alternating tests so comparisons could be made in identical conditions.

Now, if you could only find a parking spot it would fit into...
