Bosch Reaxx Table Saw Drops the Blade to Save Fingers

Although there are other table saws able to detect flesh and stop the blade, these systems rely on a brake that ultimately ruins the blade. In contrast, the Bosch Reaxx table saw drops the blade out of the way via a replaceable cartridge system, which forces the blade downward and away from the operator. Once the near-emergency has passed, the system can be reset with a new cartridge and used again.
