BBIRM allows participants to look at the material that they are reading. The phonics based device has all the sounds of the alphabet with pictures to represent each sound. The chart has an opening in the center which allows the participants to place this device over any material they want to read. The insert allows the participants to focus on the letter or letter combination as they sound out a word by locating the exact letter or letter combination on the chart using the familiar picture’s sound. BBIRM allows the participants to see what the alphabet are saying.
