The Cappuccino Lock was developed for recreational bikers who secure their bikes nearby while enjoying a coffee or a rest break—known in the bike world as 'eyes-on stops.' The combination lock is designed to secure both ends of the strap's quick-release mechanism, enabling the user to wrap the strap around the bike frame and a solid object and then secure it with a spin of the tumblers. Although a thief could still cut through the helmet strap, the extra effort required should help to prevent someone from simply hopping on the bike and riding away with it.
