CheckMe Checks Vitals in Seconds, Reduces Clinic Visits

CheckMe Checks Vitals in Seconds, Reduces Clinic Visits
Jun-29-15
Designed to making tracking patient health more convenient, the handheld, personal CheckMe device from Vitacon can read six vital signs in just twenty seconds.

Being touted as a “real medical tricorder,” the CheckMe device could reduce the number of times a patient visits the ER by confirming whether or not medical intervention is necessary. The unit is equipped with cable-free sensors and an LCD interface, which allows it to gather data on the patient’s ECG, pulse rate, blood pressure, blood oxygenation, and temperature, and then display that information on a mobile app.

The CheckMe will be marketed a Bloomingdale’s under the brand name BodiMetrics.
