Cogiro 3D Printing Robot Keeps an Eye on its Structure

Cogiro 3D Printing Robot Keeps an Eye on its Structure
Apr-27-17
The Cogiro 3D-printing robot will monitor the material as it dries, allowing it to plan the structure more precisely.

The Cogiro cable-driven 3D-printing robot can be installed directly over the building site, where it will print clay-based structures from a CAD file. As it works, the Cogiro’s thermal sensors will detect the hardness of the extruded clay. This allows the robot to print more precisely over large areas, ensuring a stronger structure.
