ColorUp Lamp Can Shine in Hundreds of Hues

Oct-07-14 With just a squeeze from the user, the ColorUp Lamp can capture the color of any object and change its tint to match.

The ColorUp lamp has been in development by PEGA Design and Engineering for a few years as they worked out the specifics of battery size, lamp brightness and bulb shape. It is made from soft silicon and shaped like an over-sized light bulb with a color-reading sensor on the bottom, making choosing a new tint as easy as placing the bulb's base on the object and giving it a squeeze. According to the designers, the ColorUp is able to read and mimic hundreds of different color frequencies.
