CoolChip Fan Provides More Cooling at Half the Size

CoolChip Fan Provides More Cooling at Half the Size
Jan-14-15
By integrating the heat sink into the fan itself, CoolChip Technologies has created a quieter, more efficient computer cooling system.

The original concept of the "kinetic cooling engine" was developed at Sandia Labs, and was then refined by CoolChip to create a commercially feasible product. The result is an integrated fan/heat sink that takes up half the space of a conventional cooling system and emits much less noise while still delivering a 50 percent increase in cooling efficiency.
