Dart Tool Plugs Self-Healing Tires

Dart Tool Plugs Self-Healing Tires
Oct-08-19
The Dart tool invention from Stan’s NoTubes will quickly and efficiently seal larger holes in tubeless mountain bike tires.

Though today’s tubeless bike tires can seal small holes with liquid sealant, larger holes are harder to repair. The Dart tool from Stan’s helps keep bikers on the trail by closing the larger holes with a polymer strip (the dart), which will react with the Stan sealant within the tire to form a much stronger seal than a standard plug. The flexible darts can conform to the puncture shape better than the traditional rigid plugs, and are less likely to enlarge the hole during the repair process.
