DIY Wearable zOrigin Platform

May-25-18 The zOrigin chipset and platform from zGlue were designed to make it easy for tinkerers to build their own wearable devices.

The zOrigin is equipped with the basic elements of a fitness tracker, including an ARM Cortex M0 processor, heart rate monitor, accelerometer and Bluetooth LE radio. According to the developers, the user can customize the system by designing their own chip with the company’s ZiP technology or create apps via the team’s source code.
