DJI Skydio Camera Drone Sees in all Directions

Oct-02-19 The Skydio 2 camera drone from DJI can pilot autonomously to dodge obstacles as it flies.

The Skydio 2 takes self-piloting drones to a new level with its array of six cameras that track the drone’s environment so it can build a 3D map of its surroundings. The drone can be controlled manually as well as programmed to follow and film a chosen target from a particular point in the sky. The Skydio 2 can also communicate with an optional beacon attached to the subject that enables it to track the target even when it is out of sight.
