Domio Turns Any Helmet into a Personal Speaker

Domio Turns Any Helmet into a Personal Speaker
Jun-21-16
The stick-on Domio invention adds wireless audio capabilities to regular helmets while also allowing the user to maintain more environmental awareness.

Designed to work with most any helmet, the Domio device pairs with a smartphone and attaches to the outside of the helmet, where it uses the helmet’s rigid body to transmit it the sound. Users can choose the volume and the tracks via external controls on the device, eliminating the need to access the smartphone or remove gloves. As an added bonus, the Domio will not block environmental sounds in the same way as earbuds, allowing the user to still receive external cues from the real world.
