DroneTracker Detects Unauthorized Drones

DroneTracker Detects Unauthorized Drones
Aug-30-15
In response to the ever-increasing flocks of drones, a European startup called Dedrone has developed the DroneTracker system to detect and monitor unauthorized drones.

The system features the DroneTracker device, a weatherproof unit that holds a number of sensors able to provide a 120-degree arc of airspace coverage at a range of up to 100 meters. The sensors, which include near-infrared cameras, acoustical sensors and video camera, monitor the sky and send the data in real-time to a paired device for viewing. And because the unit is small and easy to deploy, it can be used to create a temporary drone-detecting perimeter at public events.
