Esko Bionics EksoNR Exoskeleton Aids in Stroke Rehabilitation

Esko Bionics EksoNR Exoskeleton Aids in Stroke Rehabilitation
Aug-23-19
The EksoNR Neurorehabilitation exoskeleton from Esko Bionics assists in patient recovery after a stroke.

The EksoNR is an evolution of the EksoGT device, and was designed to help stroke patients re-learn physical tasks like walking and sitting. To that end, the exoskeleton boasts a more natural gait that can be tuned to different patients as well as an array of sensors and diagnostic tools to provide therapists with more detailed information. The EksoNR also communicates with a handheld touchscreen device that allows clinicians to view real-time feedback as the patient uses the suit and adjust the therapy challenges accordingly.
