Eyes-On Wearable Ultrasound

Eyes-On Wearable Ultrasound
Nov-29-15
The Eyes-On glasses from Evena Medical use ultrasound and near infrared to allow clinicians to visualize veins for easier vascular viewing (and less painful needle pricks).

The glasses, which are meant to be worn like standard glasses and can be used hands-free, project both UV light and ultrasound onto the skin. The ultrasound captures the images of the deeper veins while the UV light images the closer, peripheral veins, allowing the Eyes-On system to display the veins over the patient’s skin in real time.
