FingerAngle Adds Texture Detection to Touchscreens

FingerAngle Adds Texture Detection to Touchscreens
Nov-22-15
The FingerAngle adds extra functionality to touchscreens by recognizing different textures, such as a knuckle or a fingernail.

Developed by Qeexo, the FingerAngle technology allows the touchscreen to determine how it is touched as well as where it is touched. For example, the system can detect the amount of pressure applied to the screen and adjust the yaw and pitch accordingly—offering a better angle for viewing maps or images—or place a stylus on the screen, and it will react as if the user were writing with a pencil.
