Frameblock Bike Stores Locking Cables in the Frame

Frameblock Bike Stores Locking Cables in the Frame
Dec-14-14
The Frameblock joins the ranks of bike-integrated locks by incorporating a locking cable into the bike's frame, which cannot be cut without also damaging the bike.

Biking is growing in popularity, but many people still do not enjoy carrying a bike lock around with them. The Frameblock tackles the issue of convenient security by incorporating a thick cable lock into part of the frame. The two free ends of the lock can be fastened around an object in the same way as a standard lock, and the entire system will remain attached to the frame during riding.

Although several frame-integrated lock systems have been making the news lately, their natural rigidity limits the places they can be used. In contrast, the flexible nature of the Frameblock's cables allows them to be used in more places.
