Nov-21-17 The Gate Smart Lock invention combines a camera and a keypad for more flexible home security.

The WiFi-enabled Gate lock replaces the home’s deadbolt lock, where its motion detector will alert the homeowner to a visitor's approach before they even reach the door. The owner can communicate with the visitor via the Gate’s companion app and embedded camera, and unlock the door remotely if they choose. Friends or delivery drivers can also be given permanent or temporary passcodes for entry, as needed.
