Glider Shelter Harvests Rainwater

Glider Shelter Harvests Rainwater
Jun-09-13
The Glider Shelter does more than shade and protect a camping spot—it can also gather enough rainwater to fill a one-liter bottle in less than a minute.

Designed by Kammok, the Glider Shelter features a rainwater retention system based on the Amphibiskin material. Strong, light, heat reflective and completely waterproof, the material’s natural gutters will funnel rainwater into the FlexiPOD water bottles, filling a bottle in under seconds during heavy rains. The Glider Shelter is reversible, and can be hung with its reflective side out to reflect heat during sunny days or with the dark side out during rain storms.

The Kammok has already exceeded its funding goal on Kickstarter.
