GM, Segway Release Two Person Vehicle

The P.U.M.A. (Personal Urban Mobility and Accessibility) is an electric two-seat vehicle that is a collaboration of Segway and GM technologies. It boasts with zero emissions, enhanced safety and seamless connectivity.

The vehicle runs on wheel motors that are powered by lithium-ion batteries. Due to it's torque steering, the PUMA can perform zero radius turns. It works essentially like a Segway: You lean forward to go forward, lean back to slow down or stop. When it is stopped, additional wheels descend to keep it balanced.
