Harmony Rehab Robot Offers Two-Armed Training

Harmony Rehab Robot Offers Two-Armed Training
May-04-15
The HARMONY Rehab robot exoskeleton improves rehabilitation treatment by allowing the patient to practice with both arms at once.

The HARMONY is the first two-armed, robotic exoskeleton that can provide full upper-body therapy for patients with spinal and neurological damage. The device attaches to the patient’s upper body, where its 14 different axes provide a wide range of natural movements. The Harmony can be adjusted to fit the patient’s size, and its array of sensors constantly gathers data that allows the exoskeleton system to chart progress and modify the force and torque to best suit the patient’s needs.
