Heartsense Heart Monitor Transmits Data in Real Time

Heartsense Heart Monitor Transmits Data in Real Time
Jan-17-19
The affordable Heartsense heart monitor detects dangerous heart rhythms in real time to reduce the risks of strokes.

Developed by the startup Cambridge Heartsense, the wireless monitor is equipped with a multiple lead ECG and oxygen and temperature tracker. Small enough to be comfortably worn by the patient as they go about their daily activities, the monitor offers more detailed data in a much smaller package than has been traditionally used. The collected data is transmitted to the cloud in real time, where AI algorithms process the information to detect dangerous and irregular rhythms with much the same level of accuracy as a trained cardiologist.
