HexHog Off-Road Wheelchair

HexHog Off-Road Wheelchair
Aug-12-14
The HexHog wheelchair is designed for off-road travels, giving physically disabled people unprecedented access to new terrain.

The product of five years of testing, the HexHog features a patented chassis that will flex to ensure all six wheels keep contact with the terrain without the rider needing to actively lean. It is controlled by a joystick, and the controls can be personalized to suit riders with reduced dexterity or limited upper limb movement. The HexHog is powered by a lithium ion battery, which eliminates fumes or vibrations, and is equipped with a seat transfer system for independent transfer to and from a wheelchair.
