JF-Kit House is Powered by People

May-04-13 Workout enthusiasts and off-the-grid lifestyle seekers will feel right at home in the JF-Kit, a combination gym and home-power plant.

Designed by Elii studio, the experimental Jane Fonda Kit House was created with the energetic homeowner in mind. The house features an array of “domestic fitness furniture” equipped with kinetic energy generators that let residents produce their own power through a range of activities, including pedaling a bike or watering plants.

According to the developers, the JF Kit House “ is an experimental exercise in the underexplored field of architectural teratology.”
