Light L16 Camera Boasts Sixteen Different Lenses

Oct-09-15 The smartphone-sized L16 camera boasts sixteen individual lenses, packing DSLR quality into a small package.

Developed by the startup Light, the L16 is able to capture an extraordinary amount of detail with its 16 lenses, each of which captures the image at a different focal length. That image data is then combined into a single 52-megapixel image that allows the photographer to adjust the depth of field, exposure and focus after the image has been captured.

The L16 also includes an Android operating system and built-in WiFi—which allows for instant image posting—as well as a five-inch touchscreen and a 35mm-150 optical zoom.
