Luke Stairwalker is an Affordable Stair-Assist Solution

Luke Stairwalker is an Affordable Stair-Assist Solution
Oct-18-14
Luke Stairwalker can was designed to give extra support the elderly or disabled while climbing stairs, and can be cheaply installed in even smaller stairwells.

Created based on the input of the anticipated users, the Luke Stairwalker can be installed on pre-existing stairs railings, where its C-shaped handle extends over the stair steps to provide a more comfortable and stable grip than the conventional side-mounted railings. A 'turnable ball' allows the user to easily change the direction of travel, and a backrest can also be attached to the rear of the device to help prevent falls and provide a place for the user to rest, if necessary.
