Mac Ride Bike Seat Takes Kids on the Trail

Mac Ride Bike Seat Takes Kids on the Trail
Dec-10-17
The Mac Ride invention lets mountain bikers take their child along for the ride.

While there is a wide range of child bike seats available for standard bikes, they are not suitable for trail riding. With that in mind, mountain biker Glen Dobson developed the Mac Ride, a silicon seat attached to a telescoping pole that mounts to the bike. The child is balanced in front of the adult, where they can hold onto the handlebars and slip their feet into the seat’s stirrups—allowing them to stand as the terrain gets rough, just like the adult rider.
