Designed to meet the most basic housing needs, the modular Micro-house can be packed in a shipping container and stacked to form a small, multi-house complex.
Created by Studio Lie Lubin, Micro-house is made of glass fiber reinforced plastic, which is both strong and lightweight. The odd shape of the house was designed to act as both furniture and architectural elements, allowing it to be used as a single, multifunctional room, grouped to form a housing suite or stacked to create a residential group.
The small size of the Micro-house also meets China’s land use policies, and makes it easier for people to own private homes.
