Microscopic Camera can be Injected with a Syringe

Microscopic Camera can be Injected with a Syringe
Jun-29-16
A tiny camera small enough to be injected into the body with a syringe could have applications that extend beyond medicine.

The microscopic camera measures only 100 micrometers across, and was made using 3D printing. Its three lenses are able to focus as close as 0.12 inches, and the technology can also be used to print lenses in different shapes for specific purposes. Beyond the obvious use in endoscopy procedures, the tiny cameras could find their way into robotics and self-driving cars.
