Moodmetric Ring Adds High-Tech to Mood Rings

Moodmetric Ring Adds High-Tech to Mood Rings
Dec-17-14
The Moodmetric ring lets users track their emotional levels throughout the day while also adding some retro flair to the growing ranks of stress-health trackers.

Being touted as the smallest biometric sensor yet, the Moodmetric ring works by measuring the skin's ability to conduct electricity (galvanic skin response), which is altered by the amount of sweat on the skin and has been determined to be an accurate indicator of the body's stress level. As the Moodmetric tracks the wearer's stress levels, it sends the data via Bluetooth to a smartphone app that will display a "mood flower," allowing the wearer to identify their daily emotional patterns and seek out better habits.
