It is controlled by an accelerometer, which allows the user to change the functions by turning or tilting the device. The lack of exterior knobs and switches reduces the chances of invasion by dirt or water.

The mPowerpad can reach full battery capacity of 2500mAh in under 6 hours, which will power up to 20 hours of gadget time.
