MTS Briefcase Unfolds to a Bullet-Proof Shield

Mar-13-15 Developed with an eye toward people working in volatile areas, the MTS Multi-Threat Shield briefcase offers protection from attack.

Offered by the Force Training Institute, the MTS weighs about eight pounds empty, and can carry out the normal briefcase functions—protecting a laptop or other devices. When an attack occurs, however, the briefcase can quickly be expanded with a flick of the wrist to become a three-foot-long shield able to deflect bullets as well as knives and physical attacks.
