Nanova Portable Pressure Wound Therapy System

Nanova Portable Pressure Wound Therapy System
May-30-15
The Nanova pressure wound therapy system can be used at the patient’s home, allowing the therapy to be extended without the need to go to a clinic.

Developed by Acelity for use on slow-to-heal wounds, the system is hand-activated: one to three compressions on a hand-held pump is all that is needed to prime the system to deliver regulated negative pressure. As the liquid is drawn from the wound, it is absorbed by disposable dressings, which can be changed as needed. The device is small enough to fit in a pocket, and the entire unit can be disposed of after about 30 days.
