Narbis Glasses Turn Dark to Maintain Focus

Narbis Glasses Turn Dark to Maintain Focus
Oct-30-19
The EEG-reading Narbis Glasses invention tracks the wearer’s brainwaves to measure attention and encourages focus by turning opaque.

The result of a successful crowdfunding campaign, the Narbis glasses system is made up of the pair of glasses, a brainwave sensor and a wrist-worn controller. The sensor will detect changes in brain activity that indicate mental focus, triggering the glasses to slowly darken if focus is being lost. As the wearer restores focus, the glasses will turn clear again—reportedly training the brain to maintain focus over time without the need for medication.
