New oDocs Nun Helps Prevent Blindness

Nov-11-18 The oDocs nun next generation ophthalmoscope could help reduce the incidences of preventable blindness in remote and impoverished areas.

Developed as an alternative to the more expensive Fundus cameras, the oDocs nun can perform both mydriatic and non-mydriatic retinal imaging and is equipped with optics that offer a field of view up to 8 times wider than its counterparts. The nun’s optics are also compatible with most smartphones, and it can be used independently as an ophthalmoscope or in conjunction with an app-running smartphone.
