One a Day Password Pill

Jun-03-13 A proposed ‘vitamin authentication’ pill could allow people to access their password protected systems by turning their whole body into a security pass.

The idea, presented by Regina Dugan or Motorola at the D11 conference, features a small pill containing an electronic chip that is powered by the acids inside the stomach. According to Dugan, once swallowed the chip would activate and create “an 18-bit ECG-like signal in the body so essentially your entire body becomes your authentication token.”

Dugan also presented a security-pass digital tattoo, embedded with sensors and an antenna, at the same conference.
