Pavlok Wearable Zaps You to Help Break Bad Habits

Pavlok Wearable Zaps You to Help Break Bad Habits
Oct-03-14
The Pavlok takes wearable health monitors into a new realm by tracking daily activities and delivering an electric shock to help the wearer break a bad habit.

The Pavlok can be worn as a wristband or attached to the body using the included adhesive patches. Once in place, it will pair with a smartphone and monitor the wearer's activity through its internal sensor, similar to the way a fitness tracker monitors movement. Users can choose which bad habit they wish to break—or which good habits they want to form— via the companion app. When the Pavlok senses the user falling into the bad habit, it will alert the user with an audio alert, vibration, LED display or, as an extreme, with a small electric shock.
